Holly, Eden, and I recently attended the National Furbearer Working Group Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. We met biologists from state agencies across the country to discuss management and research of furbearing species.
Laurel and I were happy to host an otter-themed activity at the Kid's Tent at the Cheat River Festival (the annual fundraiser of Friends of the Cheat) this past weekend. For more info on FOC's watershed conservation work, check out Friends of the Cheat's website.
Holly, Eden, and I recently attended the 2024 West Virginia Fur Trappers Association Fur Auction from March 1-3, 2024 in Glenville, WV. We assisted in CITES tagging bobcats and river otters throughout the weekend.
